Here taking about physical height of the fourth, and the incumbent Russian president Vladimir Putin, he might not stand tall in comparison to his counterparts form other countries, but his deeds can easily outnumber most of them. While comparing his height to his counterparts, it has been found that French president Francois Hollande height is 5’7”, German Chancellor Angela Merkel height is 5’5”, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad height is 5’2”, US president Barack Obama height is towering 6’1”. Nevertheless, Vladimir Putin has been able to make an impact in the world though his policymaking, and legislations which has nothing to do with his height. Vladimir Putin biography is very impressive. After getting birth in an ordinary family on October 7, 1952 in Leningrad, Russian SFSR, Soviet Union (modern day Saint Petersburg, Russia), he saw himself through the top post of the country. He was member of his varsity’s Communist Party of Soviet Union and remained a member until the party was dissolved in December 1991. He graduated from the International Law branch of the Law Department of the Leningrad State University in 1975.

Currently, he holds the position of the country’s premier since 7 May 2012 for a six-year term that is slated to expire in 2018. In spite of the ruling the country smoothly, he has always been surrounded by controversies. Many of his actions are regarded undemocratic by the domestic opposition and foreign observers. During his regime, real incomes increased by a factor of 2.5, real wages almost tripled, unemployment and poverty plummeted and the country’s self-assessed life satisfaction skyrocketed. While Putin was appointed as Prime Minister by then President Dmitry Medvedev, he oversaw large-scale military, and police reform where he supported high-tech industries such as the nuclear and defense industries. The international fraternities condemned this act of his, but Vladimir Putin turned a deaf ear to them. The Russian dominance over the country is the outcome of his leadership quality, which also earned him the title of the world’s most powerful man according to Forbes few years back. Now, it has been crystal clear that height has nothing to do when it come to making a mark for the country as proved by Vladimir Putin height which is considered meager, but not his works.
