Kapil Sharma and Preeti Simoes

 Kapil Sharma needs no introduction. At mere 32 years of age, he has already set up his brand name in Indian channel as a stand up comedian, actor and a television host.
This wisecracker was born in Amritsar, Punjab of India in the year 1982 in the family of Mr. Kc Sharma and is currently living in Bandra, Mumbai.
Kapil had debuted in Television show in the year 2002 from the musical reality show- “Ustado ka Ustad.” Everything takes time. His fame did not come overnight. It’s the result of patience and hard working of several years. A lot has changed since he tried his fate as a theatre artist in Punjab. In fact there are many shows for which he was not paid. But his spirit and belief in oneself did not let him down and today here he is- shining in limelight.
Kapil is known for his diverse personality. He is equally polished in singing which he proved by getting in on the act in the show- “Star ya Rockstar.” He joined the show as a wild card entry and bagged second position in the show. He is also a successful host who was widely appreciated for his presentation and comic timing in the popular dance show- “Jhalak Dikhlaja Season 6 which he hosted with his co-host Manish Paul. Jhalak dikhlaja which is on air through Colors Channel became the first show ever to be hosted by two male co- hosts. He presented the show”Chhote Miyan” in in the year 2008 with co- host Juhi Pamar. He also happens to be the host of first Punjabi International Film Awards held in Toronto, Canada in the year 2012.
This 5’8” towering personality is widely appreciated image of Indian TV shows. Kapil is recently trying his luck in movies. He shares the place with starcast Herman Baweja and Genelia d’ Souza in his upcoming film- “It’s my life” which is produced by Aneez Bazmee. Sources revel he will be seen acting in the movie-“ Sher Khan”, a production of Sohail Khan.
He has won the comedy reality series-“The Great Indian Laughter Challenge season3” which was on air through Star One Channel where people widely appreciated him for his character of Lala Roshan Lal and Shamsher Singh. He also won Comedy Circus Ke Tansen, Comedy Circus Ka Naya Daur and Kahani Comedy Circus Ki. Kapil was ranked 96th among Top 100 celebrities surveyed by Forbes India on February 2013.
These days, Kapil is busy with his own home production- k9 Production which produces a comedy talk show- “Comedy Nights with Kapil.” Kapil says he is doing well with his show and getting the highest TRPs among non- fiction shows. He also claimed none of the show can come close to his rating for the next five years.
Sources believe Kapil and Preeti Simoes- the creative director of Comedy Circus are in a serious date since couple of years back.
